MAC Allister Tile Cutter

Mains Electricity Powered - 550w - PAT Tested

What is it?
A tile saw is similar to a table saw but instead of cutting wood it cuts ceramics with what is to all extents and purposes a grinding wheel.

What is it used for?

The tile saw uses a diamond cutting blade to cut ceramic tiles. The blades sits in a water bath and this both prevents overheating and reduces dust. This model includes an adjustable fence for ensuring straight cuts parralel to the tile edge. Other cuts can be done freehand or with the use of a jig, though this is not recommended for a beginner.

About This Tool

Main body is mains electric powered, 550w.

The water bath is accesed by lifting one side of the saw table. The power cable is stored beneath the saw table, it is a short cable and if this saw is not being used on a bench close to a power supply it is highly recomended that an extension cable is used.
